Welcome to My Publishing Portal

The past is my lesson. The present is my gift. The future is my motivation.

When I sit down to write a short story or a book, I do not say to myself, ‘I am going to produce a work of art.’ I write because there is some truth that I want to expose and some fact to which I want to draw attention to.

No one can tell my story, so I tell it myself.

No one can write my story, so I write it myself

One thing that helps, is to give myself permission to write badly. I tell myself that I’m going to do my five or more pages no matter what and that I can always tear them up the following morning if I want. I’ll have lost nothing.

I prefer to write in the morning where my ideas wake me but I always carry my pen-less note pad with me, my phone.

I got my "Diploma of Freelance Journalism" in July 1998 at the Australian College of Journalism.

Writing for me is the answer to everything.

It is now my streaming reason for living. To note, to pin down, to build up, to create, to be astonished at nothing, to cherish the oddities, to let nothing go down the drain, to make something and to make a great flower out of life, even if it’s a cactus.

  • Better the devil you know than the devil you don't.  If you are in a happy relationship, this article will not interest you. Marriage is a long term commitment. Sadly for many, it ends with no hope of recovery. Some prefer to stay on their own for personal reasons but others like myself choose...

I wrote this article because I am often asked why I published photos of myself visiting and praying in mosques or temples over the years that I’ve travelled. I was born and raised by a Catholic family and I was baptised accordingly. I was educated to believe that Catholics are, first and fo...

Life is not complicated. We are complicated. When we stop doing the wrong things and start doing the right things, life is simple. So starting today… Stop berating yourself for being a work in progress. – Start embracing it! Because being a work in progress doesn’t mean you&rs...

"Man's best friend" is a common phrase about domestic dogs, referring to their millennia-long history of close relations, loyalty, and companionship with humans. • Best Man Speech by Sylvio   Joke: There comes a time in life when you meet someone special. That was a time when they come to love each other for the rest of their lives. That happened over 70 years ago when I was born and Roland and I met.   I guess I should introduce myself for those...

The prostate is a walnut-sized gland located behind the base of the penis, in front of the rectum and below the bladder. Fish and Chips left over is grander than me peeing in the fuel tank.   Not again. What am I taking about? My Kia has 165,000Kms on the clock and that is not a lot of mileage for a diesel engine. Considering that I do all the servicing and repairs, it probably will last many more years but I ...

Although I have repaired the Kia with a new Turbo Charger and cleaned the inlet and exhaust manifold, there is no DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) to reduce emission of black soot.  View Photos   The car would probably do another 160K without any problem but the exhaust gases are a major ...

Why this notice?   Since the release of the first edition of MEA in 1996, the world has dramatically changed.
